德島市立德島城博物館

這間博物館距離JR「德島站」步行約10分鐘，位於德島市德島中央公園內的德島城御殿跡中。常設展以德島藩與蜂須賀家為主，將美術工藝品及歷史資料分成5個主題來展示。館內收藏了日本國家指定重要文化財「德島藩御召鯨船　千山丸」等珍貴展示品。每年館方會舉辦6次企劃展或特別展。鄰近的舊德島城表御殿庭園也開放博物館入館者入內參觀。

Tokushima castle museum is small but has a very nice collection of artifacts and information about the castle history and region. It is surrounded by a beautiful Japanese garden with some wildlife.

This fascinating museum provides an insight into the history of the area. Get a combined ticket to see the gardens as well.
