到筑波山遊覽，可先到超過三千年歷史，位於築波山山腰的筑波山神社。經過參拜道和隨神門，在右方屹立着樹齡約800年的大杉，再往上步行約十分鐘便到達非常有歷史價價、以木建築為主的筑波山神社。

笠間稻荷神社是日本三大稻荷神社之一。創建於661年的神社，人流不多，可細意欣賞充滿歷史價值，以木建築為主的本殿和樓門，和兩株樹齡約400年的八重藤。到訪時八重藤還剩下不小垂釣的粉紫花。
