ร่องรอยทางประวัติศาสตร์ เหมืองแร่ทองคำซาโดะ
เหมืองแร่ทองคำที่ใหญ่ที่สุดของญี่ปุ่น ที่ผลิตเงินตราในสมัยเอโดะในฐานะดินแดนภายใต้อำนาจการปกครองที่ขึ้นตรงกับโชกุนโทะคุงาวะ ในปี ค.ศ. 1989 ได้หยุดดำเนินงานเนื่องจากทรัพยากรหมดลงและปิดฉากประวัติศาสตร์อันยาวนานกว่า 400 ปี สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกในการขุดเจาะและโรงถลุง ฯลฯ ที่อยู่ภายในพื้นที่ ได้ถูกกำหนดให้เป็นสมบัติทางวัฒนธรรมที่สำคัญของประเทศ ปัจจุบันสามารถเข้าไปทัศนศึกษาอุโมงค์ในเหมืองแร่ที่เคยใช้งานจริงได้
