1887년, 이세 신궁을 참배하는 손님들이 휴식, 숙박하기 위해 지어진 '힌지쓰칸'. 메이지 천황의 모친, 에이쇼 황태후와 다이쇼 천황 등 역대 여러 황족, 각계 인사들이 많이 머물렀다. 천장에 샹들리에가 걸린 다다미 120장 정도 크기의 오히로마(회합을 위한 넓은 방), 와지마 칠기가 장식된 도코노마(방 한쪽에 단을 높여 만든 장식 공간)가 있는 고텐노마, 회유식 정원 등 품격있는 일본의 전통 건축을 볼 수 있는 국가 지정 중요 문화재이다.
