나카노에 장난감을 ‘보고 놀고 만들고 알아보는’ 미술관으로 창설되어 현재는 구 요츠야 제4초등학교 교사로 이전. 동서양을 불문한 양질의 장난감 ‘굿 토이’와 전통적인 장난감을 다수 전시하고 있으며, 대부분의 장난감은 실제로 만져 보고 가지고 놀 수 있다. 장난감을 가지고 노는 방법이나 게임을 가르쳐 주는 장난감 학예원이 상주. 가족 단위뿐만 아니라 데이트나 친구끼리 방문하는 것도 추천.
