I have been in Wakayama serval times this is the one of the best hotel. Old name is Daiwa Royal Hotel. Last Royal family stayed here. we chose suite room so it was huge nice food and hot spring staff...

Its clean, remote but quiet.but pillows are too small and the beds are a bit hard. Got backache in the morning.They dont have any drinks inside the fridge but you can purchase from the vendor...
Comfortable one night stay

My 70+ year old mother and I stayed at this hotel just for a night on 23 March 2018. We were part of a 20 pax tour group travelling around Central Japan so I’m not sure how much it costed us for that...
