山間にポツンと(というわけでもありませんが)ある道の駅。建物裏には噴水とちょっとした散策道のようなものがあります。阿賀野川の川下り受付もこの場所でやっているというのも関係しているのか、駐車場は広めで大型の観光バスも休憩で立ち寄っていました。麺類や定食などメニュー豊富なレストランは周辺エリアの中では貴重な食事場所かと。ドライブ中の休憩にも最適だと思います。
