年代とともに何重にも積み重なった地層をていねいにはぎ取って、２万年前のたき火のあとを見せてくれています。 当時のようすを再現した映像や、子供にもわかる説明もあってとても勉強になりました。長町南駅から５分ほどで歩けます。

This is worth the trip from Sendai! We were impressed with the creativity and diversity of kaleidoscopes. Really an international collection! Great for adults with it without children!

美術館内にあるレストランです。 大きなガラス張りで、どの席からも外の風景が見れて 開放的で気持ちよく食事が出来ました。 美味しく頂きました。

その時期の見ごろのお花をパネル展示してあったり丁寧な仕事をされている植物園です。豆子蜂（人を刺したりしないとても小さな蜂）の家の展示があったり楽しめる場所です。

青葉城址の横、東北大学川内キャンパスと工学部に隣接する自然公園。川内側から入って工学部側まで登ってゆく散策路は森林浴ができて気持ちが良い。上り詰めたところは広場になっており寝転んで空を眺めるのも良い。一周すると約1時間。良く整備されている。休むところもあり、トイレも完備している。仙台には町の中にこんな山の中と思われるところがあるのは素晴らしい。上り口のロックガーデンには菖蒲が咲いていました。訪れる...

道の駅に隣接しているので、寄ってみるといいです。無料なのですが、意外と面白いです蔵の町のことがわかります。

女川町にある原子力発電の啓発センターです。模型やパネル、映像から原子力の仕組みをしっかり学ぶことができました。

この地域で金採掘が盛んであったことに由来して、金に関する展示がメインとなっている資料館です。 金細工の工芸品の展示もありました。 資料館とは別料金で、砂金取り体験もできるようでしたが、評判がよくないのでパスしました。
