-
River/Lake ActivitiesFukushima
- [Note] This plan is open for applications until July 22nd. If you are participating after that, please see the summer vacation plan. Lake Onogawa in Urabandai, which was created by the great eruption of Mt. Bandai in 1888, has exceptional beauty. The Onogawa spring water that flows through the upstream Onogawa Fudo Falls has the highest water quality and has been selected as one of the 100 best waters. A polite lecture on land will unravel your tension. Using the latest model kayaks and paddles, it invites you to improve comfortably and comfortably. The cove where the smelt migrate is the starting point, and there is little wind, making it a safe field for beginners. The only lake in Urabandai where you can‘t see any man-made objects if you row out to sea. In addition, there is no large pleasure boat like Lake Hibara, and the wind is the calmest field in the Urabandai area, so participants can enjoy it with peace of mind. If you go offshore against the background of the green screen created by the trees of the forest, you will be greeted by a beautiful and majestic scenery that will make you speechless. The scenery is colored by large and small coves and islands, and the ancient Japanese herb (mint) grows wild on the banks, and in the secret cove, natural hydrangea floats on the surface of the water. [6 attractions] 1. Konpira-sama, who controls the safety of voyages, is enshrined on the uninhabited island created by the eruption. 2. 3. Lily Island, an uninhabited island full of wild lilies in early summer, and the scent of lilies fills the lake surface. 5. ‘Bird Orchestra Cove‘ where you can hear the chirping of countless wild birds in the cove. A secret cove that appears when you pass through a tunnel of trees that can only be entered during the high water season, and a limited-time field where you can paddle through the forest with a canoe will also appear. 6. Petit down river area ‘Splash‘ where you can go down the stream in the splashing water. *The above experiences are subject to change depending on the season and weather conditions.
