Chichibu Night Festival

Event
The Chichibu Night Festival is one of Japan's three largest float parades, and registered with UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage. The sight of the parade is incredible, with two gorgeous Kasaboko pillars and four rolling floats, weighing up to 20 tons, being towed up onto Dangozaka hill. The fireworks show features countless paper lanterns of all sizes coloring the winter night sky and enchanting spectators.
