Gion Kashiwazaki Festival - Folk Dance Procession
This huge event allows local residents to participate and is held on the night of July 24 to kick off the Gion Kashiwazaki Festival, the biggest summer festival in Kashiwazaki. Great throngs of dancers wearing yukata form rows and dance to traditional folk songs while occasionally involving the spectators. An extremely lively and energetic event which allows onlookers to join in.
