Toyama Shinminato Festival and Fireworks Display
This fireworks display is held near the Kaiwomaru Park where the namesake ship is docked in Imizu City, Toyama Prefecture. The approximately 2000 fireworks displayed against the backdrop of Sailing Ship the Kaiwomaru is a sight to see. The water-surface starmine fireworks launched towards the sea is the highlight of the display. Many spectators come annually to see these unusual fireworks.
