Koshigaya Fireworks Festival
Every year around 250,000 spectators pour in for this big event and symbol of the riverside town of Koshigaya that unfolds along the Kasai Canal. Since the fireworks are launched from a sandbank in the river, visitors can take them in from either side. The breathtaking fireworks are set off one after another, and the fantastic sight of them sparkling on the water is well worth seeing. There are also many street stalls along the river adding to the festival vibe.
