Susaki Festival Sea Fireworks

This fireworks display is held on the second day of the Susaki Festival, which takes place over three days in Susaki City, Kochi Prefecture. About 2,000 fireworks like cascades and elaborate starmines are launched in rapid succession from Fujigahama Beach. The centerpiece 24 inch shells light up the night sky with seven colors in a flash, leaving spectators amazed. The first day of the Susaki Festival features a costumed palanquin porting race (Hashiken Kagokaki Race). The Susaki Summer Festival takes place on the third day and also gets a great turnout.
