Mito Komon Festival Fireworks Show
Held on the first day of the Mito Komon Festival, this fireworks show features about 4,500 shots, from oversized starmines that expand to 300 meters to creative fireworks that write messages or draw characters. It is held at Lake Senba located in the vicinity of Mito City. You simply must get a glimpse of the fantastic beauty of colors and lights of the fireworks against the night sky reflecting off the lake surface. There are many food stalls around the event area and Mito Station.
