Masuda Fireworks
Started in the Taisho Period, this first-rate fireworks display of Akita Prefecture is filled with history and tradition. Roughly 5,000 rounds-from the famous rapid-fire of 24 inch shells to simultaneous starmines-are fired in succession, illuminating the night sky with light and creating a tremendous roar that you can feel reverberate in your body. It is a show packed with power.
