Nago Castle Park
This park encompasses the site of Nago Castle in Okinawa Prefecture’s Nago City. Kanhi-zakura cherry trees bloom here from the end of January to the beginning of February, and it’s been designated one of Japan’s Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots. During the flowering season, the park is awash in vivid pink hues, and visitors pour in from near and far for the Nago Cherry Blossom Festival at the end of January. The gorgeous view of the contrasting emerald green sea and the cherry blossoms from the viewing platform is a must see. Toilets and parking available.
