Myokengawa Ryokuchi Park

Event
This municipal park stretches between the Myoken River and Prefectural Route 154 in Osaka’s Katano City. The green space has been known from long ago as a cherry blossom viewing spot for nobility. The lush park’s promenade is familiar to locals as a leisure spot for families and children. Yoshino, hill cherry, and Sato cherry trees are planted along a roughly 760-meter stretch of the Myoken River. Peak season is from early to mid-April. The trees first flower downstream, and the bloom moves upstream day by day. There is no parking available.
