Byakugo-ji Temple
This Tendai sect temple in Tamba City, Hyogo Prefecture is famous for the 120-meter wisteria trellis known as “Kyushaku-fuji” that grows here. About 50 sakura trees—Yoshino cherry, hill cherry, weeping cherry—bloom in spring, providing luxurious decoration to the historical structures. You must see the view of pale red cherry blossoms spreading like a cloud over the mountains of Tamba. The temple is open from 8:00 to 17:00. The admission fee is 300 yen for Adults. Entrance free for high school students or younger. Toilets and free parking available.
