Nikko Kaido Cherry Trees

This is one of Japan’s best cherry tree lines, featuring over 1,500 trees like the hill cherry planted along a 16-kilometer stretch from Kamitomatsuri Town crossing of the Utsunomiya Ring Road to Yamaguchi region of Nikko City. They form a flower tunnel during peak season, and form little petal whirlwinds as they flutter down, making for a wonderful stroll. The roads are very crowded during peak season, so it is advisable to utilize public transportation.
