Tadamoto Park

Event
This park, spread out above the high hills of Isa City, Kagoshima Prefecture, features a lawn, a walkway, an observatory, a children’s playground and other facilities. Included in Japan’s Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots, this hanami spot is one of the best in the prefecture, particularly famous for the two-kilometer stretch of cherry trees called “Senbon-zakura.” From late March to early April, the Yoshino bloom overhead, which are illuminated by chochin lanterns at night. The Tadamoto Park Cherry Blossom Festival is held on a Sunday during the peak season. Toilets and parking available.
