Ogi Park
Ogi Park is a famous garden that has been selected for inclusion in the list of the Top 100 Historic Gardens in Japan and in the list of Japan’s Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots. The garden was originally created by Nabeshima Motoshige, the first lord of the Ogi domain, and by Nabeshima Naoyoshi, his successor. Every year in early April, around 3,000 Yoshino cherry trees bloom in the Park, making for a very impressive sight; the cherry trees are also illuminated at night, creating a truly magical effect. Ogi Park also has padding pools and the “Genki Plaza,” with an adventure playground for kids, helping to make this a great place for families to come and view the cherry blossom. Shops, toilets and paid parking. The nearest station is Ogi Station.
