Hanatate Park
Hanatate Park located on a slope of Mt. Hanatate in Kitago Town, Nichinan City, Miyazaki Prefecture is popular cherry blossom viewing place where about 10,000 cherry blossom trees including Yoshino cherry blossoms and hill cherry blossoms can be enjoyed. A promenade where a cherry blossom tunnel leads to the peak is provided, and walking while enjoying the beautiful spring scenery is spectacular. The observatory is a perfect viewing place where you can enjoy panoramic views of the township of Kitago, the Pacific Ocean, the mountain range of Kitago, and mountainsides covered with cherry blossoms. During the cherry blossom season, the park also holds the Hanatate Park Sakura Festival.
