Hakone Gora Park

A French-style garden opened in 1914, this garden features a fountain, a rose garden, a botanical garden, and a craft center. Beautiful flowers bloom year-round, with the 10 varieties of cherry trees—hill cherry, Yoshino cherry, weeping cherry, Kawazu-zakura cherry, Kohigan-zakura cherry—blooming in succession starting in early April. You can see the Jugatsu-zakura blooming between October and April, allowing you to enjoy lovely cherry blossoms from fall to spring. The park is open from 9:00 to 17:00 (last entry by 16:30). Entry fee is 550 yen for adults. Entrance free for elementary school children or younger. Toilets, shops, café and paid parking available. The nearest stations are Koen-shimo Station, Koen-kami Station, and Gora Station.
