Shiba Park
A park stretching out at the foot of Tokyo Tower. Park facilities include a children’s playground, grass lawn, sports facilities, and valley surrounded by Japanese maples. The park is also a renowned destination for cherry blossom viewing, and some 200 Yoshino cherries, hill cherries, and Sato-zakura cherries grow on the park’s grounds, among other varieties. The cherry trees around Benten Pond and the Shiba Maruyama Kofun burial mound attract large numbers of visitors in particular, and you can enjoy stunning scenery which combines Tokyo Tower with flowering cherry trees. The best time to view the blossoms is generally from late March to early April. Toilets available. The nearest stations are Shibakoen Station, Onarimon Station, Akabanebashi Station, etc.
