Musashi-Kyuryo National Government Park
A government-run park, the first in the country, spanning Namegawa Town in Hiki County and Yagii, Kumagaya City, Saitama Prefecture. Boasting spacious, 304 hectare grounds on a large hill equal in size to 65 Tokyo Domes, the park has an athletics course, botanical garden, and the largest air trampoline in the country. The park's maple garden is particularly popular and in autumn some 20 varieties of maples here seemingly burst into flame with color. During the best time to enjoy the fall foliage from mid-November, the trees are lit up at night, and visitors can experience a magical atmosphere quite different from what the park looks like in the daytime.
