Hakusan Shirakawa-go White Road

Event
This is a driving course where you can fully indulge in the gorgeous views within Hakusan National Park, which links Kanazawa, Hakusan or Kaga Onsen-kyo (Hot spring resort) in Ishikawa Prefecture with World Heritage Site Shirakawa-go or Hida Takayama (Gifu Prefecture). You can not only drive this course, you can also enjoy it through walking or trekking too. The Hakusan Shirakawago White Road is at an elevation of 500 meters to 1450 meters, so from early October to late October every year, you can enjoy the brilliantly colored leaves, such as those of the Japanese rowan, Japanese sumac, and maple.
