Kotosanzan Saimyoji Temple
Koto Sanzan Saimyoji Temple is famous for the Ruriden (main hall), a national treasure built during the early Kamakura period, and the sanjyunoto, a national treasure built during the late Kamakura period. The leaves in fall are beautiful. A natural monument, the Fudan Zakura (cherry) is a type of modified cherry tree that blooms during the autumn leaf season, revealing pretty white flowers that mix with the colored maple leaves in red. It is a notable spot selected as one of Japan's 31 Most Beautiful Places by America's CNN.
