Kuji Mountain Stream
Kuji Mountain Stream is famous for its Kagami-iwa limestone that developed from a South Sea coral reef more than 200 million years ago and Furosen Spring, which was chosen as one of the top 20 pristine water sources in Iwate Prefecture. It's especially beautiful during the fresh green of spring and when the leaves change in the fall. At that season the red and yellow autumnal hues and coniferous green mix along the cliffs, making its scenery like a painting.
