Included in Daisen-Oki National Park, a national park opened in 1936 and Japan's third ever, Mt. Daisen is renowned as one of Japan's most beautiful destinations for fall foliage. Known as the Mt. Fuji of the East and the Mt. Daisen of the West in Japan, in autumn, the entire mountain is dyed a patchwork of colors, entrancing visitors.
