Mizumoto Park
The only park in Tokyo offering this kind of beautiful riverside scenery. Mizumoto Park is a renowned destination for fall foliage-viewing. The park has an avenue of 20 meter tall poplars which stretches for 1.2 kilometers. In addition, a forest consisting of some 1,800 trees dawn redwoods, and Japanese alders and other waterside-loving trees, grow on the park's grounds. The forest of dawn redwoods, a tree known as a living fossil, is one of the largest such forests found in a Tokyo park; the best time for viewing the forest in autumn colors is usually around early December.
