This ski area located near Matsunoyama Hot Spring Village in Tokamachi City is known for the high snow quality of its slopes. It has a range of slopes suitable for people of all ability levels. One of these is its Champion Course, which features uncompacted snow. The ski area also boasts great views of Mt. Naeba, Mt. Hakkai, and Mt. Makihata, also known as Echigo Sanzan (Three Mountains of Echigo). Their restaurants offerings include their simple yet addictive special niku miso (a condiment made with meat and miso paste) noodles and handmade onigiri (rice balls) made with Uonuma Koshihikari rice grown locally in Matsunoyama.

十日町に行ったときに近くを通りました。このあたり、行きどころですから、大小さまざまなスキー場があり、そのひとつです。国際的なスキー場ではないですが、家族でのんびり滑るのには良さそうです。

リフト配置が悪い

日本三大薬湯の一つに数えられる松之山温泉エリアにあり、その名がスキー場ついている。コースは大きく２本、リフトも２本だが、それ以上に大きく感じる。県外からスキー客が訪れるというよりも地元の人の為のスキー場という感じ。リフトも遅く、またレイアウトも悪い。リフト券を買って最初のリフトまで登らないといけないが、そのリフトでゲレンデトップまで行けない。景色はゲレンデトップから白銀の世界が広が...
