This ski resort is located in Minakami Town, Tone County, Gunma Prefecture; roads which melt any snow that falls on them provide convenient access to the resort from the Minakami Interchange. The resort's massive 4,000-meter-long slope experiences a 600 meter difference in elevation and is outfitted with 10 courses appropriate to skiers of all levels, from beginner to advanced. On Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, the resort is open until 11 p.m. and it also opens up at 6 a.m. on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. The resort's full array of facilities includes the Gate House and Rest House lodges, and the popular ski and snowboarding destination is the leading snow resort in the Minakami area.

2/28（火）初訪問。県内なので下道で行ったが、首都圏からの人は、水上ICからスキー場まで道路には雪がない（地下水で融雪している）ので、雪道が苦手な人にはお勧めです。駐車場から最初のリフトが階段上がったところにあるのはちょっと辛い。駐車場に降りてくる下山の初級コースは絶対に使わないこと。

祝日に伺いましたがリフト待ちはほとんどなくストレスなく滑ることができました。滑走距離はそれほど長くありませんが、今回は足慣らしで伺ったのでその点ではちょうど良い感じでした。
雪質

ゲレンデは、場所により色々な雪質でした。ブナの木コースは、がりがりで滑るのがこわかったですが、その他のコースは、湿り雪で、重い感じでした。そろそろ春が近づいているように感じました。
