Togari Onsen Snow Resort has 19 courses in all: seven beginner, six intermediate, and six advanced level courses. The whole family can enjoy skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing there, and their 2,500-meter long-course is great for everyone from beginners to advanced level skiers. They hold their Starry Sky Night Tours from the end of February to late March from 19:00.

We wandered all over the grounds in the Spring after most of the snow was melted - sort of like a ghost town with everything put away and motionless. The views across the valley are magnificent...

The resort is quite small which makes it less intimidating for beginners and intermediates. It is also cheaper than Nozawa Onsen. We found our ski instructors at Togari Ski School Yoko and Murayama...

長野駅から飯山駅へ直通でいければ、50分くらいで到着します。飯山駅から、戸狩温泉行きのバスが出ていて片道500円。三月は春を感じながら楽しめるスキーです。エッジが引っかかりやすいこの時期にうまく乗りこなせれば自分の成長が実感できるかと思います。初心者から上級者までコースもあり楽しめるスキー場かと思います。当日はバンクドスラロームの大会が行われていて、部門ごとに分かれてタイムを競い合ってい...
