The Pilatus Tateshina Snow Resort boasts one of the highest elevations in the country, long runs, and spectacular winter scenery with views of the three ranges of the Japanese Alps and the Yatsugatake Mountains. It offers a wide variety of courses, including its Juhyo Course with snow-bound trees and lots of powder and its Technical Slope used for ski and snowboard certification. Its four-kilometer-long course you reach via a 100-person ropeway is famous.

ロープウェイ利用で、豪快かつ美しい景色の中でのダウンヒルが楽しめる。八ヶ岳ブルーに包まれて楽しく滑ろう。ここのSAJ公認八ヶ岳山麓スキースクールは、インストラクターのレベルが粒ぞろいで、キッヅやジュニアのレッスンは特におすすめ。

例年より雪が少なくレストラン等の建物の階段が丸見えだったりしますが、コースについては問題なく滑走できました。スキーヤー・スノーボーダーだけでなく、登山客もたくさんいます。
