Hypocenter Cenotaph

"The monument is located in the ""hypocenter park"" along Route 206, where at 11:02 a.m. on August 9, 1945, an atomic bomb dropped by the U.S. military on Nagasaki exploded about 500 meters above the city, and the temperature on the ground surface at the hypocenter reached 3,000 to 4,000 degrees Celsius."
