Omokage Observation Deck
This strangely shaped observation platform in Unazuki onsen village offers a view of the Kurobe river. Designed by Spanish architect Enric Miralles, its complex shape supposedly represents birds taking flight into the sky. In addition, the Kurobe river just below, it offers a view of the hot spring town, ski resorts, and the Oharayama Kannon statue.
