This souvenir shop is a five-minute walk from JR Yufuin Station. The shop sells famous chirimen dried whitebait from the Bungo Channel, tsukudani soy sauce boiled preserved foods, and miso. The shop's uni chirimen paste is made with chirimen dried whitebait and sea urchin stewed with slow-aged miso. Available in both amakuchi mild and karakuchi salty varieties, customers can choose their preference. The shop's yuzu miso paste, made with local yuzu peel and naked barley miso, is a perfect condiment to put on top of rice or cold tofu. The shop's warabimochi bracken starch dumplings come in plain as well as yuzu, matcha green tea, and other unique flavors. A gentle slope leads up to the shop's entranceway and there are no obstructing steps, ensuring that wheelchair users can also easily access the establishment.

湯布院のメインストリートである湯の坪街道にあったお店、福味屋さん。こぢんまりしたお店に入ると、たくさんの種類のちりめんなど、ご飯のお供にぴったりの商品が並んでいました。試食できるものが多いので、あれこれと味見をしながら品定めができました。その中で気に入った「うにちりめん」と「かりかり梅しそふぶき」を購入。現在も、自宅でおいしくいただいています。

賑やかに観光客が行き交う湯の坪街道にあった店のひとつ、福味屋。ちりめんなどのご飯のお供的なものがたくさん並んでいる店です。気になった商品は試食ができるので、味を吟味して購入できます。いくつか試食した中で気に入った「うにちりめん」と「かりかり梅しそふぶき」を購入しました。家に帰ってから、湯布院の温泉を思い出しながらいただいています。

はじめていったのですが、ご飯のお供がタックさん売っています。味見もできるのがよいです。お気に入りはゆず味噌です。とてもおいしかったです。
