Meisuien

Fish/seafood
This Japanese restaurant, a 15-minute drive from Bungo-Taketa Station, is located right next to the public Kawauda Spring water drawing station. The restaurant is most notable for its cuisine made with enoha landlocked masu salmon caught in the famous waters of Taketa's springs and rivers, which have even been selected for inclusion in the Top 100 Famous Water list. In addition to the restaurant's signature karaage deep fried salmon, you can also enjoy enoha prepared shioyaki style broiled with salt, and namasu raw salmon with vegetables and vinegar. In summer, you can eat fresh-caught fish prepared and served as karaage on the spot. There's a fish pond in front of the restaurant where you can catch rainbow trout. In addition, you can also catch sweetfish and other fish with your bare hands. The restaurant is open until 5:00 p.m. and can also be used after this time with an advance reservation.

Review
