This Japanese restaurant, a 20-minute drive from Bungo-Taketa Station, stands directly opposite of the south end of the Tenman Bridge in the Nagayu Onsen hot spring district centering on the Seri River. The restaurant serves carp, enoha landlocked masu salmon, Oita's famous toriten chicken tempura, and a variety of other dishes. The restaurant is most notable for its soft-shelled turtle cuisine made with soft-shelled turtle from the Seri River flowing just outside. The restaurant uses wild soft-shelled turtle from May to September, and farmed turtle the rest of the year. Customers can enjoy turtle dishes such as soft-shelled turtle donburi rice bowl, and soft-shelled turtle hot noodle soup; as well as a soft-shelled turtle course meal available with an advance reservation for a party of two or more people. Soft-shelled turtle meat is low in calories and contains an abundance of amino acids, making it a particularly popular choice for women.

古い昭和な感じの何でもある定食屋

長湯温泉郷にある川魚料理を出す観光客向け料理屋ですが、肉料理も定食もあり、地元の人の食事処としてもやってそう。店内は古く昭和の定食屋のようでもあり、いけす、というか水槽もあり、ごちゃごちゃ感があり、雰囲気あります。料理は普通においしいです。

ラムネ温泉に行く前に、正直屋で、エノハ寿司を頼みました。エノハとは、ヤマメのことで、川魚のおいしさを堪能しました。

長湯温泉への配達はエノハだけなので、スポネを食べにお店へ。平日の昼間は他にお客もなく、薄暗い店内でした。マンガ本が沢山あり金魚の水槽にテレビと、昭和を感じる店内。椅子4客のテーブルが4卓、調理場を挾み奥に座敷が幾つか。スポネ鍋定食は程よい量で体が温まりましたが、ご飯は美味しくなかったのが残念。メニューの種類は大変多かったのですが。
