Furukawa Farm
This farm is about a three minute drive from Awaji Interchange on the Kobe-Awaji-Naruto Expressway. It grows fruits and vegetables organically without the use of any herbicides or other agrochemicals. The orchard's location on top of a just hill across from the Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge offers a sweeping view of Osaka Bay and the Kii Peninsula. It offers a wide variety of seasonal harvesting experiences. This includes satsuma mandarin picking from mid-October to late January, bamboo shoot harvesting in the spring, loquat picking around June, and Tamba chestnut and Annoimo sweet potato harvesting in the fall.
