"This art museum is located two-minute drive from Higashiura Interchange on the Kobe-Awaji-Naruto Expressway. The museum exhibits the works of Awaji Island native Nakahama Minoru, who is best known for his ink paintings of cats. The 20-meter-long ""Chonai no Gunzo"" is particularly stunning. Each of the distinctive cats in the painting is depicted with great richness of expression. The museum shop carries a wide range of original cat-themed merchandise including reusable shopping bags and keychains. Nakahama Minoru himself leads an ink painting class on the second Sunday of each month."

前から気になっていた猫の美術館！！墨で描かれた猫が目力強くこちらを見つめています。1匹、1匹が先生の大事な猫の家族だったり、ストーリーになっていてとても楽しかったです！
道の駅の近く

道の駅に寄った時に偶然見つけました。海辺がすぐ近くです。中は、可愛らしい猫の絵がたくさんあります。猫の神社もありました。猫好きにはたまらないです。

猫美術館という看板に釣られて入ってみました。彫刻とか焼き物もあるかと思ったのですが、中浜稔さんの猫の絵がひたすら展示されていました。
