Tomb of Emperor Keitai

Other Historic Site/Building
This kofun keyhole-shaped burial mound is located in 3-Chome Oda, Ibaraki City. The massive tumulus is 226 meters long and is believed to have been constructed in the fifth century. The tomb is managed by the Imperial Household Agency as that of Emperor Keitai, Japan's 26th emperor, but there are also those who say the tomb of Emperor Keitai is actually Imashirozuka Ancient Tomb in Takatsuki City.
