Cherry Trees Along the Jushigawa River
This famous destination for viewing cherry blossoms on the Jushigawa River is near Kintetsu Railway Tomita Station in Tomita, Yokkaichi City. Some 800 cherry trees grow along both banks of the river for approximately 1.2 kilometers. The Jushigawa River Cherry Blossom Festival is held in line with the trees blooming in spring, and during this time special events are implemented such as lighting up the trees at night.
