A convenient stop over lunch place at Mitohakone-ko station at Hakone. The restaurant is located at the 2nd floor of a 3 storey building with a very good view of Lake Ashi. Ordered a tempura rice set...

Happened to stumble on this place while looking for lunch. Food was excellent! Had the cutlet and tempura. Best warm Sake I had was from here!

We needed a quick lunch and headed into Ashinoko Chaya which is just across from the pier. The food was very tasty and seemed authentic and it had a lovely view over Lake Ashi.
