Ei Beppu Onsen Center
This day-use hot spring bathhouse is located a five-minute drive from Ei-Okawa Station on the JR Ibusuki Makurazaki Line. Looking out over the East China Sea and Mt. Kaimondake directly beyond, since it opened six years ago, the popular bathhouse has seen some one million customers. The waters of the bathhouse' mildly alkaline spring are said to treat such ailments as nerve pain, joint pain, chronic digestive diseases, and chronic skin diseases. In addition to a large indoor bath from which customers can enjoy a view of Mt. Kaimondake, the bathhouse has a variety of facilities, including a whirlpool bath, jet bath, lie-down bath, and sauna.
