This restaurant serves creative cuisine made with local ingredients of Satsuma. The restaurants interior is decorated with numerous historical materials from the late Edo period including a portrait Saigo Takamori and a reproduction photograph of Sakamoto Ryoma. The restaurant's sign even features the Shimazu cross, the family crest of the Shimazu Clan. Their menu includes meat dishes made with Satsuma Kurobuta pork as well as fish dishes made with silver-stripe round herring. The restaurant also has a selection of as local shochu including Mao. Their shio (salt-flavored) ramen is one of the area's best-kept secrets.

鹿児島中央駅から徒歩約５分。ベル通りの奥の方にあります。夜は居酒屋さんになりますが、ランチタイムはラーメンを出しています。500円ととてもリーズナブルです。柚子胡椒ラーメンを注文しました。柚子胡椒のさっぱりした風味が二日酔い気味のところに心地良く、美味しくいただきました。塩系のラーメンが人気のようです。鹿児島の歴史を感じさせる掲示が沢山あり、賑やかな店内です。
