Iwata Egg Farm
This long-standing poultry farm first opened in 1924 and is located along Prefectural Route 26 in Nagaoka, Shinto, Kitagunma County. They raise two breeds of chicken; Jun-Kokusan-dori (Pure Domestic Chicken) Momiji and Boris Brown, from chicks to adults on their own special mixture of feed. At their onsite direct sales shop, they offer rich flavored fresh eggs as well as processed foods including custard puddings and castella cake.
