This Japanese confectionery shop is located in Nagato Yumoto Onsen. Since its establishment in the late Meiji period (1868-1912), the shop has been making handmade sweets using only the finest ingredients. The most popular item is their waffles, which have many varieties such as cream, matcha green tea, mashed bean paste and chocolate. The handmade waffles with a mild sweetness are loved for their elegant sweetness. Their tamago manju that looks like a cute quail egg and onsen manju with a simple taste are also popular. The shop also sells household goods and Hagi-yaki pottery.

自家製ワッフルが人気のコンビニ風の店

長門湯本温泉の入口、バス停の近くにある店で、大手コンビニがないこのあたりでは、コンビニのようにドリンク、食べ物、日用品が揃っていますが、もともとは和菓子の店、温泉みやげのまんじゅうなどあります。お勧めは自家製ワッフル、クリーム味、あんこ味など一個120円から単品で買えるのがうれしい。

長門の温泉街の入り口に有りワッフルで有名で何種類かのワッフルがが有ります。周りにお菓子やさんは少なく長門を訪ねた時は貴重な甘みになるのではないかと思います。美味しいと思います。
