Inoue Park
"This park was built on the site of the birthplace of Kaoru Inoue, who, along with Shinsaku Takasugi and others, was active in the ""Revere the Emperor, expel the barbarians"" movement. The park is dotted with stone monuments in memory of Sanetomi Sanjo and others who fell to the Choshu clan, a poet from Yuda Onsen, Chuya Nakahara's poem monument, and a haiku poem monument of Santoka Taneda, a haiku poet who lived in Yuda Onsen for a time. There is also a free footbath that is popular with tourists and local residents as a place to relax."
